Welcome to Retrograde! With this asset pack, I wanted to make something that had all of the vintage sensibilities I love, but with a distressed and grungy edge. I sourced textures from 60s and 70s print material, scanned meticulously, and edited for max usability. I spent a day burning and staining paper to create high res weathered details you can add to your designs for some extra character.
And... I did the impossible, created a live and editable distortion map template that works with any texture and any text. I’m so excited to see what you guys do with this one, the results are insane. I also added a video tutorial to show you how I use it and how you can experiment to make some really cool effects. Lastly, I sampled colors from 70s movie posters to create really warm and unique gradient presets for your designs! I’m so excited to share this with you and see what we can create with it, tag me in your designs! (This pack is for personal and professional use)
